This show is brought to us by the great folks at the Flatrock Playhouse. It’s a new venture for them with a smaller setting, and a theatre in the round format. They have picked a terrific, upbeat show to start out their inaugural season! The Marvelous Wonderettes takes place at the 1958 Springfield High School prom. It’s here that we meet the girls – Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy. Each girl has big hopes and dreams with big voices to match! During the show you’ll hear classic 50’s music like the ‘Heatwave’, ‘Lollipop’, and so many more. Later we’ll see them at their 10 year reunion with all the great music of the 60’s like ‘It’s My Party’. It sounds like a whole lot of fun to me! Can’t wait to see it! We’ll enjoy an included lunch at Cracker Barrel on the way there, so it’s going to be a fun day out!
