Myrtle Beach Holiday Show Trip
December 4th - 6th 2012 - click for flyer
Join us for a fantastic line up of holiday shows! Each is presented in a large, state of the art theater with comfortable theater style seating. They are lavish, full-scale productions with live bands, amazing lights, and awesome showmanship. I’ve been to many shows around the country, and these rank up there with the very best. Each will carry a Christmas theme, along with traditional music as well. There will be singing, dancing, comedy, ice-skating, and so much. And I learned last year in Pigeon Forge that ya’ll want to stay busy on your holidays tours, so this one will be just that! So here’s our line up!
- Legends in Concert – they have recently moved their theatre to a new property near Broadway at the Beach. I’m anxious to see it, along with all the other great ‘stars’ at this show. You can count on Elvis to be there, along with Marilyn, Dolly, George, and many other greats! They have an amazing cast that impersonates these fine entertainers and other stars. It’s always lots of fun for all!
- Christmas On Ice – this show will be at the beautiful, 2000 seat Palace Theatre. It was one of our favorite shows two years ago. They have a skating rink built on the stage and present a wonderfully choreographed Christmas show. There’s great singing, beautiful costumes, and amazing skating at this unique holiday presentation.
- The South’s Grandest Christmas Show – presented at the Alabama Theatre. Wonderful staging, amazing decorations, talented singers, and dancers make this a top rate production. It’s been a fan favorite for many years, and this year it will be fantastic again. Especially with the pre show with that quiet comedian that we love from Decatur, Ricky Mokel. He’s so very, very funny in his quiet little way!
- Carolina Opry Christmas Special – the theatre at the Opry is by far the largest and most elaborate one in the area. Their cast is equally as awesome, with some of the best vocalist around. Combine that with a talented band, wonderful dancers and you have a great show. Add to that the cloggers who won on So You Think You Can Dance, and this show rocks! You will love it!
This will be a great holiday getaway and we will spend two nights in an oceanfront property in north Myrtle Beach. We’ll also have two great all you can eat seafood buffets, along with a full breakfast each morning. Not to mention a little time for some outlet shopping too. Don’t miss out on all the fun!!
