Cathy Stokes, a graduate of the University of Georgia, has been leading group tours since 1983. Her first travel adventure with groups was on a trip to Disney World, while she was working with a local recreation and parks department. Over the next 18 years she planned and acted as tour director to hundreds of trips with her senior adult group. Since then, she has been coast to coast, leading active seniors on motorcoach tours around the country. With her recreation background, and her research abilities she combines enjoyable itineraries with a fun filled attitude for all her groups.
Cathy changed careers in 2001 after completing a travel degree program at a local college. At that time she took her ‘Seniors On The Go Travel’ and turned her sites on a full time travel career. She’s never looked back and has been on the road again ever since.
Her groups have traveled to every corner of Georgia; been to the majestic lands of Alaska, put their toes in the sparkling waters of the French Riveria; cruised to the sunny shores of Aruba, and seen the beauty of the Canadian Rockies to name a few.
